About Gasha

Gah-Ndo Ashuembom Amabo(born on the 18th of March 1991) professionally known as Gasha is a Cameroonian Soul and Reggae singer, songwriter, performer and actor. Her passion for Music and other expressions of art runs in the DNA. As a Child, Gasha use to make pretend concerts all the time. She taught the children's fellowship in church sketch creation and music. Growing up, Gasha loved to read and which developed deeper into writing emotions.

Before 12, Gasha use to be the star of her family. At every family gathering( weddings, meetings etc), they will call the little Gasha to give a performance and she always trilled the crowd. At 15, the young talented Gasha joined MySpace where she mate a group of yong aspiring artists. In this group, she picked up a challenged that made her to write and record her first song professionally.

Early Carrier

Gasha is a Univeristy of Buea second year dropout. She dropped out and left for Yaounde to follow her passion and persue a carrier in music. Her first official single came while she was in Yaounde titled "Kaki Mbere" which was well received and made her a household name in Cameroon and Africa. She followed this single up with other great projects like "This Life" etc.

In 2015, Gasha was nominated for Best Central Africa Female Artist at the AFRIMMA Awards in Texas - USA where she went ahead to win alongside Fally Ipupa as Best Male Central Africa. In Dallas- Texas, she mate Eddy Kenzo from Uganda and they went ahead to make another great song "Chill" that took the whole of Africa by storm. Gasha has collaborated with GUINESS in "Made of Black" where she produced their theme song "Black I am" ft Stanley Enow. She went ahead to release "Women Will CHange Africa" Album with TC Concepts.

In 2015, Gasha Left her record Label "Stevens Music" to persue an Indle Carrier. Since then, she has released a lot of amazing projects such as Back to Life, Le Meilleur, Me and You, Murder etc. Gasha has a goal to give back to the community through teaching what she has learned and channel as much as needed into changing the world and making it a better place.
